Have Camera, Will Travel

July 27, 2010

Top Row: A covered bridge in Battleboro, VT.,  NOT the same thing as 100mph, a really odd colored flower in VT.
Middle Row: Flowers in NY, Niagara Falls, an awesome antique shop along Route 9 in VT.
Bottom left: The view from my dashboard just before midnight somewhere between Albany, NY and Battleboro, VT.

ETA: I guess I should explain that I was not driving and shooting photos at the same time in that bottom photo! My camera was on a timer and it was set up before I put my foot on the gas! :)

I have photographed this little guy every summer for 3 years. This year, I drove out to see him in New Hampshire since his mom just had another little boy. You can see that sneak peek a few posts down, or just click here. If I ever had a son I’d want him to be just like J. Sweet, spunky, fun, hilarious and with a gentle heart. I adore this little guy!

Every year we do a giant lollipop picture. It never gets old with J.!

It has been a busy few weeks at JMP! I have had sessions left and right and now I’m trying to play catchup. This is another sneak peek from another family I photographed while out in New England last week. I LOVED shooting this family! Mom and Dad were super casual and laid back. The kids were full of personality and spunk, which I adore. It made for an awesome night. (And they cooked me dinner, too! Fresh fish from the Atlantic and steamed veggies from the garden. I was in heaven!) Thank you to the {P.} family for letting me into your home. I had a blast with you all!

Some kids have teddy bears or blankets. Mr. A has a GPS!

How can you NOT love hanging around these two!?

This is a sneak peek of one of the families I photographed while out in New England. I absolutely fell in love with these three girls and I would have taken them home had I thought Mom and Dad wouldn’t notice! I could have stayed and played with them all day. Thank you to the C. family for having me. You have a wonderful family!

I was lucky enough to travel out to New Hampshire last week to take this little guy’s photos for the first time. His older brother, who I’ll post some photos of later this week, has come to Grand Haven to see me for the last 2 years, so it was my turn to go out there this time. While I was out there I also photographed a few other families so be on the look out because this is going to be a busy week on the blog!
